By investing the time necessary to develop an accurate analysis, PCS and OKI were able to present the district with a detailed analysis of their printing environment. Additionally, they were able to make suggestions to the district that have effectively lowered their printing costs by over 40%.
DEPOT

There are multiple definitions of depot service. The first, and most common type is depot carry-in services. Your laptop has died, and you are unable to find a Toshiba repair center anywhere! In addition, your entire staff is using notebooks from Toshiba, IBM, Lenovo, Compaq, and HP. They scatter to all ends of the country when they need them repaired. PCS believes that partnering with multiple manufacturers makes sense for our customers. That’s why we can fix your assets in a timely, professional, and efficient manner. 95% of our repairs take place within 24 hours!
Don’t waste time looking for several companies to repair your carry-in warranted items. Come to PCS where you know your equipment will be fixed and running quickly! Carry-in services apply to many of your I.T. assets. If it’s too heavy or you don’t have time, please inquire about our pickup and delivery courier capabilities.
The second type of depot service is the PCS depot repair program. You have locations across the country with I.T. assets that sometimes fail. Your users need a central phone number or web site to request service. You have a spare pool of standardized equipment, but managing the distribution and refurbishment of these assets is too much to handle internally.
PCS understands this process exceptionally well and excels at managing this service for our clients. By housing your spare pool of equipment, our qualified engineers can ensure that your assets are in peak shape and ready to be deployed in an instant. PCS is an I.T. company, and we have the technology to manage a comprehensive depot repair effort. Let PCS construct a comprehensive depot repair plan for your team and let you do other things.

Appalachia HIDTA (AHIDTA) and PC Systems, Inc. (PCS) recently entered into a contractual agreement where PCS would provide network consultation. When AHIDTA initiated a complete computer replacement program, PCS assigned Dan Guinn, Network Engineer, and David Walls, Senior Service Technician, the task of providing that consultation. It was during that time that I first met Dan and David.
Dan and David arrived on a Friday morning without any knowledge of exactly what they were getting into, except they were looking at replacing a three state network. We met, discussed the current AHIDTA network, the requirement of the new network, reviewed the network layout of the offices in the three states, and they departed. The following Monday morning they arrived and “hit the floor running.” They presented recommendations, some were modified but most were accepted, and immediately began incorporating the agreed upon network configuration.
Quite honestly, I was totally impressed By both Dan and David. Their professionalism, level of knowledge, willingness to “go that extra mile,” and eagerness to explain what they were doing was definitely much more than what I expected. I have nothing but praise when talking about Dan and David. Twice while they were here I met with management and discussed the status of the network upgrade. Both time I expressed my pleasure with Dan and David’s performance. In fact, I called them “water walkers” and expressed how I was very pleased with their efforts and accomplishments during their visit.
I would like to commend both Dan Guinn and David Walls. They are a credit to themselves, their profession, and to PCS. I also commend PCS for having the foresight to employ such individuals.
