PCS FEEDS THEIR VOLUNTEER SPIRIT!
Personal Computer Systems, Inc. (PCS) announced today that they are sponsoring a FOOD DRIVE to benefit the Blount County Food Pantry. The company has divided its associates into teams competing for the greatest amount of items collected.
Since 1983, the Blount County Food Pantry, located at 924 E. Broadway Avenue in Maryville, has been serving the poverty-stricken either by permanent or temporary circumstances. The Blount County Food Pantry attempts to meet any emergency needs which come to their attention, depending on resources that are available.
“Community participation is sometimes slower at different times of the year, and we appreciate PCS leading this initiative to help boost our summer collections,” states Stone Carr, Blount County Food Pantry President. “It really does directly benefit needy Blount County residents.”
Ed Waldroop, PCS CEO, commented “So few of us can imagine what it feels like for parents to be unable to feed their children. We take for granted the gifts we receive on a daily basis, and organizations like the Blount County Food Pantry serve as a reminder that we have an obligation to help our neighbors in need. We are honored to do this.”
The food drive will continue until Friday, August 3, 2007. The community is invited to make contributions at PCS Monday through Friday from 8AM until 5PM. PCS is located at 1720 Topside Road, Louisville, TN 37777 and can be reached via telephone at 865-273-1960.
In today's business world, finding a vendor is as easy as performing a google search. However, finding a vendor that provides the kind of service and support with the technical knowledge that PCS provides, is like finding that needle in a haystack. PCS has continued to adjust and grow to meet Denso's demanding needs and tight schedules. I have come to rely on PCS for everything from computers to divider walls and everything in between.
