Founded in 1996, Personal Computer Systems, Inc. is one of the largest technology providers and computer systems builders in the Southeast, providing products to a wide array of corporations, educational and governmental agencies, and resellers. The company originally focused primarily on computer supplies and components and quickly evolved into a full service production and service facility. Earning an excellent reputation among the reseller and K-12 markets due to an unwavering commitment to customer service, PCS has flourished in a competitive market. While thousands of technology companies have failed in the last several years, PCS has grown at substantial rates.
Today, PCS supports a constantly growing staff and is the sole wholesaler in East Tennessee, the largest producer of computer systems in the state and the only Microsoft Platinum OEM in Tennessee. This growth over the years has extended the range of services offered to a full complement of networking and repair services. These are manned by expertly trained and certified network engineers and service technicians.
I just wanted to extend our great appreciation for how PCS went what I believe was beyond the call to get our email and instant messenger server back online without any loss of information. This server is mission critical for our business since we have 50% of our staff offsite and downtime essentially equates to a loss of 50% of the company capability.
The way in which the whole PCS team worked to resolve this problem said volumes about your support of and dedication to your customers. This episode has reaffirmed our decision several years ago to move our company’s prime computer contractor from CDW to PCS. We look forward to continuing this relationship in the future.
